Huawei / Honor Repair Frequently Asked Questions
Will Google Play come back on a pre-2020 Huawei?
P30 and earlier shipped with Google Play Services; we only do hardware repair, so your Google status is preserved. Post-2020 models (P40+) have no GMS, and hardware repair does not change that.
Does HarmonyOS / EMUI affect the repair?
No. Hardware repair is OS-agnostic. All repair types work on EMUI 11+ and HarmonyOS Next.
Is Honor a separate brand now — are parts compatible?
Yes — Honor split from Huawei in 2020. Honor Magic uses a different parts catalog. We stock original/OEM for both brands.
Is curved-display repair different from flat?
Yes, it needs more precise alignment and adhesive work — that's why duration is 90-120 min vs 60 and pricing is slightly higher. Workmanship matters.
Are there Huawei models you can't source parts for?
